264-1546 style 100 trough end for 9″ screw conveyor without bearing is a high-strength steel trough end that is generally fitted with a Babbitted transmission flange bearing that can be purchased separately. However, other bearing materials can be supplied upon request. The trough end is also commonly referred to as an endplate and is responsible for supporting the screw, bearing, and shaft seal this creates a tremendous amount of force on the trough end which is what it is important to use specific grades of heavy-gauge steel. With style 100 trough ends they are designed in a way that allows for support of the conveyor cover, but the conveyor itself must be supported from either above or from the bottom with the use of screw conveyor feet.
